I was introduced to the world of CAD in 7th grade (~2016), with this neat little web-based program called Tinkercad. I later took up Fusion 360, which became my workhorse tool to express my ideas to the maximum. I also use SolidWorks, but have not built up too much of a design repertoire, as Fusion is my preferred prototyping method.
I believe that each design software has its own strengths and uses: none of that "Solidworks-superiority" BS. Fusion is great for rapid prototyping and designing from scratch. Solidworks excels in assemblies of pre-designed parts. I have also started working in Blender, and its ability to manipulate mesh-objects is incredibly powerful. Even Tinkercad has its uses, if you need something simple made quickly. To say that an engineer must use a specific CAD program is like forcing a swimmer to cross the English channel only with backstroke.
To the right is my Creality Cr10, that has been with me since 2016. Still running strong!
Enough talking though; here is a curated collection of the best designs I have created over the years.
