My Stance on Artificial Intelligence
I do not use artificial intelligence in any work I do. Not because I am blind to its applications - far from it actually -
but because I take pride in the work I do. And if that work is replaced by the output from an AI prompt,
I could never consciously claim it as mine.
Artificial intelligence can be an incredibly powerful tool in very certain cases- I remember reading an article
where ocean surfing robots were programmed using machine learning to be able to make on-the-fly decisions for search-and-rescue. However,
with most people having incorporated generative artificial intelligence into their daily lives, I can't but feel like we have
sacrificed a little bit of ourselves in the process.
I do not give consent for any of my work to be used in the training of generative AI.
"Usage for training" includes (but is not limited to) copying and pasting my work into generative AI prompts, or using my work in any way to interact with
generative AI. My work includes but is not limited to: my digital and traditional art, CAD models, and photos.
